Kevin Woest is responsible for managing and leading business operations and all aspects of the File & Serve’s financial activities. On the financial side, this includes planning, budgeting, forecasting, cash management, and reporting. While on the operational side, he oversees multiple project streams and constituencies among our internal staff, clients, and vendors.

Woest serves as the primary financial advisor to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) regarding strategic financial matters such as developing and maintaining forecasts, cash management systems, budgets, investing, property and equipment, and internal controls.

Woest and his team analyze financial performance, ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial reports, and provide regular updates to the senior leadership team. He is responsible for overseeing the monthly bank package, annual financial statements, and footnotes. He also coordinates and manages relationships with external auditors, lending institutions, and private equity owners.

Woest works closely with the CEO and senior leadership team to develop the company’s annual budget, conduct trend analysis, and review budget-to-actual reports to ensure alignment with strategic goals. In addition, Woest and his accounting team develop procedures to streamline processes to maximize efficiency, and ensure privacy, security, and business continuity within all segments of financial and accounting operations.

Woest’s operational duties include managing the who, what, and when of our vast project portfolio. His experience managing and optimizing a wide array of complex, large-scale, cross-departmental projects helps him to identify internal process improvements across FSX teams. Woest and his team  focus on delivering timely, compliant, and efficient projects to users and clients.  In addition, he recommends ways to enhance operational effectiveness, contain costs, improve efficiencies, ensure business continuity, and adherence to contractual obligations.

Before joining  FSX, Woest held  several key leadership roles at Merrill Lynch and Bank of America, working his way from a banking center manager to a Senior Vice President and global team leader.  At those organizations, he developed and executed contemporary workforce management strategies for global technology and operations — successfully identifying more than $100 million in annual savings by introducing efficient practices and eliminating redundant processes.

Woest brings extensive experience in developing Operational Excellence Roadmaps to his role as Program Manager. His passion for operational excellence, combined with proven expertise in process automation and risk management, makes him a key contributor to our team. Together, we develop and implement innovative solutions for courts, government agencies, and law firms across the country. Woest received his Master of Business Administration from the University of Baltimore Merrick School of Business and is Six Sigma Greenbelt Certified.
