In 2026, File & ServeXpress received its eleventh consecutive award for “Best eFiling Service” in Texas. FSX also holds the contract to provide electronic filing services to the State of Texas Office of the Attorney General and U.S. Attorney General.

FSTX provides a straightforward way to manage eFiling and eService, backed by decades of experience serving the legal community. Your firm can use the same familiar firm, filer, and payment information already associated with your eFiling Manager account, making it easier to get started.
Yes. You can use the same email address and password associated with your current eFiling Manager account.
No. Your firm, filer, and payment account information is already stored in eFiling Manager. When you first log in to File & ServeTexas, that information is transferred to your account.
No. Your existing payment account information is transferred from eFiling Manager, so you can continue using the payment account associated with your current service provider.
Your previous filings remain available through eFiling Manager. You can continue to access your prior eFilings and eServices through your previous service provider.
Yes. You can return to your previous service provider at any time. Simply log in to that service and continue eFiling as usual. You do not need to cancel your File & Serve Texas account.
Yes. Your eService notifications will continue as usual, regardless of which service provider the serving or receiving counsel uses.
Cases appear in FSTX after you submit your first filing for the case. Once the filing is submitted, the case will appear on your Case Overviews page.
You’ll continue to receive the notifications associated with your filings and service, including eService notifications and filing acceptance emails. Your notification process does not change when you use FSTX.
Filing Fees
Each transaction/envelope filed or served through FSTX is $3.00. No fees are charged when an electronic filing is rejected by the Court Clerk.
Monthly Billing & Invoicing
FSTX offers monthly billing and invoicing to help streamline your firm’s back-office processes. We advance all court fees by placing our credit card on your firm account, then provide a reconciled monthly invoice for all transactions/envelopes eFiled or eServed through our system.
FSTX accepts American Express, Visa, and MasterCard credit cards.

Fees That May Apply to an eFiling

Court Fees: Court fees may include case initiation fees, filing fees, jury demand fees, citation preparation fees, copy fees, and other applicable charges. These fees are the same fees charged when filing over the counter.

Court Service Fee: Jurisdictions may elect to charge a Court Service Fee for accepting eFilings. Many jurisdictions, including the appellate courts, Dallas District, Travis District, Denton District, and Hidalgo District, do not charge a jurisdiction or convenience fee. A $2.00 Court Service Fee is the standard fee in most jurisdictions.

eFiling Manager Convenience Fee: eFiling Manager charges a 2.89% credit card processing fee on the total fees associated with the filing. Because jurisdictions cannot pay this fee, it is charged to the filer.
No fees are charged when an electronic filing is rejected by the Court Clerk.
